Every winning bid sends thirty percent to Bainbridge Arts & Crafts. Fifty percent to the artist. The gallery and platform together absorb the rest. The work is documented end-to-end on the same provenance system that ships with every JG acquisition.
Bainbridge Arts & Crafts has been the working studio, the teaching room, and the gallery wall for this island since 1948. Seventy-six years of continuous operation. Every artist on JG's roster who lives here has shown there, taught there, or learned there — many of them all three.
BAC nearly closed in early 2025. The community brought it back. It is operating again, and it is still fragile. JG has been a supporter for the past two years; this is the structure that turns ongoing support into something an artwork can permanently carry on its own provenance record.
Established 1948. The neighbor that taught a lot of this island how to make things. 501(c)(3). Tax receipt issued by BAC directly for the donation portion of every winning bid.
